The Akarua vineyard is a unique site, measuring 52 hectares, 34.5 of which planted with vines. Babich are one of the longest running producers of Pinot Gris in New Zealand. The wine is Alsace in style, partly barrel-fermented, with mouthfilling body and strong stone-fruit, pear and spice flavours. It is made medium-dry, and is deliciously harmonious, with a rich, well-rounded finish.

This little Rosé has aromas of strawberry and rock melon with spice and stone fruits. Strawberry again on entry with raspberry and apple. Soft and nicely structure with mouth-watering, tangy red fruits. Lively and balanced - dry finish.
